This summer‘s “Catch A Rising Star” concerts at Kerr Cultural Center again will pair exciting young “next-generation” jazz musicians with established Valley jazz artists and mentors. The Wednesdays in June series begins on June 3rd and runs thru June 24th, and is co-presented by Jazz in AZ and the Kerr with generous support from the John Dawson and companies: The Scottsdale Plaza Resort and Remington’s Lounge.
“Audiences love these energy-charged performances,” Said Stan Rader, president of Jazz in AZ. “They bring out the best in emerging artists and challenge their veteran counterparts for audience response!”
