He has opened for national headlining acts such as Sam Tallent\, Jeremiah Watkins\, and Chad Daniels. He can be seen performing at clubs across the greater Phoenix area\, and he is frequently featured on Don’t Tell Comedy shows. Spencer was a finalist in the 2022-2024 Funniest Person in Cincinnati competitions. \n\n\n\nCierra Renee Miranda @cierrareneemiranda Don’t let her diminutive stature fool you\, this pistol packs a punch. Born and raised in Phoenix\, Arizona\, Cierra Renee Miranda’s fiery punchlines have been scorching the desert’s comedy scene since 2008. Covering everything from the idiosyncrasies of public restrooms to the mundane events of office life\, this little Latina’s quick wits go unmatched. Whether you are seeing her for five minutes or 45\, her curiously cantankerous views on life\, love and happiness will leave you wanting more. \n\n\n\nRaj Sivaraman @rajsivaraman  Raj Sivaraman is a writer\, comedian\, and unfunded research scientist. He has been featured in the New York Times\, TimeOut New York\, and Jeopardy! Raj has performed comedy around the US and the triple I’s of Ireland\, India\, and Iceland. He has presented scientific research mostly in the US (with one poster in Finland). He has written for Comedy Central\, and his sketch album “In Case of Emergency” is available in several boxes under his bed. \n\n\n\nSara Gordon @saraggordon Sara Gordon is a Los Angeles comedian hailing from New York. She has performed at top comedy clubs all over the country including Caroline’s on Broadway (Best of New York Comedy Festival)\, New York Comedy Club and The Stand in NYC and The Comedy Store in Los Angeles. These complementary cycles—by turns playful\, introspective and impassioned—offer a vivid portrait of Schumann’s inner world and his deeply personal musical language. \n\n\n\nThe duo portion of the program features Sergei Rachmaninoff’s beloved Vocalise in an arrangement for piano four hands\, alongside additional four-hand repertoire to be announced. Heard together\, the solo and duo works illuminate the piano’s expressive range—from intimate\, inward reflection to rich\, shared sonority. \n\n\n\nFor more than twenty-five years\, Ivona Kaminska-Bowlby and Christopher Bowlby have established themselves internationally as a highly regarded piano duo\, while also maintaining active careers as soloists\, collaborators and mentors to advanced students whom they frequently co-teach as a team. Their partnership reflects a rare synthesis of performance\, pedagogy and artistic leadership. \n\n\n\nPolish-born pianist Ivona Kaminska-Bowlby received her graduate and post-graduate training at the F. Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw\, where she studied with Professors Andrzej Stefański and Tatiana Shebanova. Her later studies brought her to North America\, where she met Christopher Bowlby; together\, they pursued advanced degrees in piano performance in the United States and Canada\, continuing to refine their work as a duo. \n\n\n\nTheir concert engagements have taken them to major venues and institutions in Europe and North America\, including Salle Cortot in Paris\, Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York City\, the Biblioteca Nacional de Catalunya in Barcelona and historic venues in Italy\, Poland and Spain\, alongside appearances at festivals\, competitions and concert series across the United States and Canada. They are frequent guest artists and lecturers at state\, regional and national Music Teachers National Association conferences. \n\n\n\nEqually central to their artistic lives is their commitment to music education and cultural leadership. In 2005\, Kaminska-Bowlby and Bowlby founded the Chopin Academy of Music in Issaquah\, Washington\, where they oversee the training of hundreds of high-achieving students in collaboration with an international faculty of artist-teachers. DESCRIPTION:Lacy J. Dalton (born Jill Lynne Byrem on October 13\, 1946 in Bloomsburg\, Pennsylvania)\, is an American alt-country singer and songwriter with a career that has spanned many decades and touched the hearts of millions of music fans. Listen to a Lacy J Dalton album for yourself\, and feel the authenticity in her delivery.  In March 2017 Lacy J Dalton was inducted into the North American Country Music Association International Hall of Fame\, and in 2022 she was awarded a Lifetime Career Achievement Award from the Josie Music Awards\, the largest independent music awards show in the country. \n\n\n\nIn 1979 Lacy was awarded the Academy of Country Music’s Top New Female Vocalist of the Year. Then in 1980\, she signed by Columbia Records and quickly rose to national prominence with Crazy Blue Eyes\, which raced to #7 on the Billboard Country Charts. She also brought home numerous Grammy nominations and 3 prestigious\, back to back (1979\, 1980\, 1981) Bay Area Music Awards for Best Country-Folk Recordings.  Lacy’s collaboration with Willie Nelson on his platinum Half Nelson CD was a high spot for her a s she was the only woman featured on that recording\, and was awarded a Platinum Record for her participation. She also received a couple of Gold Records from Hank Williams Jr. in 1985 for her support performances throughout his Five-0 Tour. She toured for years with the likes of the Oakridge Boys\, Willie Nelson\, Merle Haggard\, and Hank Williams Jr. to name just a few. \n\n\n\nHer hit records are legendary million-airplay cuts: 16th Avenue (the Anthem for Nashville songwriters was voted one of Country’s Top 100 Songs ever by Billboard Magazine)\, Crazy Blue Eyes\, Hillbilly Girl with the Blues\, Takin’ It Easy\, Everybody Makes Mistakes\, and the worldwide hit Black Coffee.  Her 2006 album Last Wild Place Anthology went #1 on the World Independent Chart\, and a year later went #1 on the American Western Music Chart.  In 2019 that same album was awarded the Pete Huttlinger award for Music Excellence by Strictly Country Magazine and the Spirit Awards. \n\n\n\nIn 2019 Lacy released a 4 song EP titled Scarecrow.  When hearing the title song\, her good friend Reverend Barbara Ann Fletcher remarked “that song makes you a whole new you\, and it makes me a whole new me.”  And that’s exactly the response Lacy was hoping for.  In 2024 Lacy released an album titled For The Black Sheep\, a collection of songs with meaningful lyrics and messages of unity and acceptance for all of us. DESCRIPTION:SONGS FROM FILM – A MUSICAL REVUE \n\n\n\nScottsdale Old Town Theatre Company presents an intimate revue of songs and musings from classic musicals that became films\, and a selection of unforgettable songs from cinema that continue to move and inspire us. \n\n\n\nIn this production we are taking familiar and iconic songs from musicals and loved films and presenting them is a FRESH way. Our goal is to entertain\, provoke\, educate\, inspire and move our audiences with our creative interpretations. \n\n\n\nSongs From Film features a variety of known local talent including 2025 ariZoni Theatre Award winners Taylor Underwood\, Chris Gamble\, as well as Shelby Hanks\, Mars Ungor\, Liana Harper Cruz\, Mara Chiles\, Grant West and Mike Arseneault. \n\n\n\nSongs from Film is conceived and directed by Mike Arseneault\, with Musical Direction from Thomas Hartwell. \n\n\n\nThe singers will be supported on-stage with a multi-image slide show and top local musicians on grand piano\, violin\, drums and guitar. \n\n\n\nFOUR PERFORMANCES JAN 15-18\, 2026 \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nThere are four performances at the Historic ASU Kerr.
