DESCRIPTION:ASU Flyin’ Winds \n\n\n\nASU faculty members Elizabeth Buck\, Heather Landes\, Albie Micklich\, and Michael Kocour perform a unique program combining classical and jazz music. The performance will feature a variety of styles\, from salsa to waltz\, with alto flute\, bassoon\, flute\, piccolo\, and jazz piano. \n\n\n\nCo-presented with ASU School of Music \n\n\n\nTea events are part of a series of free\, informal presentations featuring musicians from the ASU School of Music. We encourage patrons to contribute a suggested donation of $5 and bring a can of food or sealed personal item to be donated to Vista del Camino Food Bank. \n\n\n\nTea and refreshments are served in the Crescendo Garden at 9:30 a.m.Event begins at 10:30 a.m. \n\n\n\nRSVPs open two weeks prior to this event: October 29 at 10:30 a.m. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nThis is a hybrid program. She is a former senior contributing writer to The Onion and has written for major comedy sites like The Hard Times\, Reductress\, ClickHole\, and National Lampoon. She was recently a guest writer on your favorite news quiz show “Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me!” on NPR. She was a finalist for NBC’s Late Night Writers Workshop in 2020\, which was an otherwise totally normal and chill year.  \n\n\n\nJackie TinsleyIG: @jackietinsleitisJackie Tinsley is a Phoenix based comic\, born and raised in the Valley of the Sun! Her quick witted storytelling has landed her on stages all over Arizona and beyond. Shortly after landing in Hollywood\, Chris made his national television debut on The Jimmy Kimmel Live Show. Chris has won over 12 comedy contests including Funniest Person in So. Cal at The World Famous Comedy Store and The Funniest Actor in New York.After living in Hollywood for over 10 years\, Chris realized that the real entertainment capital of the world was Show Low\, Ariz. He lives there now and is the host of QCountry 925’s The Morning Brew with Chris Bennett and his Best Friends. Chris has been voted best radio personality of the White Mountains by The White Mountain Independent! \n\n\n\nEarlier this year\, Chris released his one hour YouTube comedy special “Small Town Famous” and was recently featured on Season 1 of Laugh After Dark’s “Comedy On Set” which is currently being considered for a Grammy nomination. \n\n\n\nCONTENT WARNING: This show is 18+.
