A Day in the Life; The Stories Behind the Song
Presented by David Schildkret, Director of Choral Activities at ASU
Wednesday, Feb. 24 at 10:30 a.m.
Watch live at youtube.com/asukerr
or facebook.com/asukerr/live
Join Arizona Opera and David Schildkret, the Director of Choral Activities at ASU, as we explore the stories behind the song…and the singer. Opera is all about incredible stories that are told on stage, but there are equally fascinating tales about the people that dedicate their lives to making the magic and the music come to life.  Tune in as we pull back the curtain on what really goes into learning to sing opera.  We will be joined by an accomplished Arizona Opera Studio Artist who will not only share stories about their own personal journey, but will perform one of their favorite arias for you.Watch, chat and ask questions for our guests as we return with this popular series in our virtual format!

Save ASU Kerr's Coffees and Teas

Like most venues, we have had no income for the past year. We have continued our Coffee and Tea series as free livestreams to keep our artists, organizations and audiences connected during trying times. Tuesday Morning Music and Tea and Coffee at Kerr are proudly presented as a community service, but these series are not presented without cost to ASU Kerr. Your gift of support helps ASU Kerr continue to provide these and other community services at low or no cost to you and your neighbors.

You can help ensure the future of this and other community programs at ASU Kerr. Please stop by the Kerr box office or call Julianne Mate at 480-965-1910 for more information.
