Right in the Eye is a multimedia performance featuring 12 films by Georges Méliès, the pioneering filmmaker and early master of cinematic special effects.

Performed live, three musicians play more than 50 instruments, including several rare and unusual ones, adding a new musical dimension to Méliès’ classic films.

Presented in a setting that complements the imagery on screen, the performance blends live music and film to highlight Méliès’ imagination and innovation. “Right in the Eye” brings new life to some of cinema’s earliest visual masterpieces.
