Exceptional musicians from the Festival Alfonso Ortiz Tirado (FAOT) in Alamos will be performing at the ASU Kerr. For those unfamiliar, FAOT Alamos is Mexico’s largest music festival, drawing around 100,000 attendees over nine days. Hosted by the Sonoran Institute of Culture, the festival is collaborating with Scottsdale Sister Cities to bring FAOT Alamos performers to Scottsdale.
The Institute has chosen tenor Christopher Roldan, soprano Rosa Maria Davila, and concert pianist Emmanuel Sabas to bring the spirit of FAOT Alamos to Scottsdale. Roldan and Davila are award-winning musicians from the festival.
With 44 awards and nominations, including four Canadian Folk Music Awards, Twin Flames has made a strong mark on the music scene. Their journey began in 2014 with a TV appearance on APTN, which also led to their personal union. Their music and harmonies have resonated with the hearts and ears of audiences around the world.
